Artemis Grympla was born in Athens. She studied acting at the Greek Art Theatre - Karolos Koun Drama School and stage directing at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She’s a member of the Director’s Programme of the Young Vic Theatre in London and has a Masters Degree in Dramaturgy from Birkbeck University of London.

She has attended workshops on acting and directing in Polland ( Grotowksi Institute). Spain

(The Actors Space, Lecoq based technique) and Greece ( Andreas Manolikakis and Eleni Skoti) She was trained in Improv Comedy Theatre and teaches improv.

She works as a director, actor, dramaturg and writer in Greece and in London.

She has directed  and dramaturged the following:
